Dr. Helton graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with her bachelor’s degree in 1979 and from UNC Dental School in 1983. Upon graduation, she moved to Danville and began practicing dentistry. She loves dentistry and constantly strives to help her patients through the latest technologies and education. By improving smiles and dental health, she also changes people’s lives.

Dr. Helton is dedicated to educating her patients about the many options that are now available in dentistry, including bleaching, cosmetic dentistry and implants. Her expertise, enthusiasm, knowledge and experience in cosmetic and family dental care can give you the smile you always wanted. Dr. Helton looks forward to the opportunity to work with you.

 

Cindy S. Bailey, RDH

Cindy has been practicing Dental Hygiene in the Danville area for 30 years. She believes in a wholistic approach to dentistry and carefully updates medical histories on patients to identify possible
causes of oral problems.

Cindy’s other area of interest is in being a Master Gardener, a Reiki Master and Hypnosis Certification.

She has two sons: Alex and Drew, Dogs: Tess and Colby
and husband Jr.

 

Amy Keesee: Patient Care Coordinator

 

Amy has been working with Dr. Helton in various administrative and clinical capacities since the Spring of 1997. Her primary responsibilities involve coordinating patient care that best meets our patients dental needs. Amy is a graduate of Averett College with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. Amy likes to sing and is a member of the Danville Choral Arts Society (DACAS). She is also involved in many activities within her church.

 

 

Kathy Poteat: Financial Administrator

 

Kathy handles any questions you may have concerning insurance filling, billing and financial arrangements.

Kathy has worked with Dr. Helton since Spring 2000. She enjoys helping patients achieve their dental goals. She shares in our patients enthusiasm when they accomplish their new smile.

Kathy enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and going to antique auctions in her spare time.

Carrie Rogers - Registered Dental Hygienist

 

Carrie joined Dr. Helton's dental team in 2006. Dental hygiene is a second career for Carrie and she finds her work to be extremely gratifying. She plans on eventually completing a bachelor's degree in Health Science. When not working, Carrie enjoys reading, walking and biking. In addition to her other hobbies, she is currently working on completing her internship for the Danville Master Gardeners Association. Carrie and her husband Mike have two sons. Together they share a love of scouting and the outdoors.

Tina Mayes - Dental Assistant

 

Tina is a 2006 graduate of George Washington High School. She came to work for Dr. Helton in the Spring of 2006 after school. Tina is currently enrolled at DCC, where she is studying Business Management. She enjoys spending time with her family; especially the 5 children that mean the most to her, ranging in ages from 6 months to 12 years old. Tina is very active in her church as well.

Ann Key - Dental Assistant

Ann joined Dr. Helton's staff in 2005. She has been a Dental Assistant for 29 years and brings with her extensive training and experience in implant dentistry. Ann enjoys taking every opportunity to increase her knowledge of each phase of restorative, preventive, cosmetic and implant dentistry and strives to be current on innovative ideas. She has been married to her husband David since 1982. They have two sons, Spencer and Preston who both play competitive Club Soccer on travel teams. They are a family of soccer fanatics and cat lovers.
